Just a sunday photo shoot

I cut both of the kids hair and Morgan lost a tooth. I have always wanted to do a mohawk on Chase since he was a baby. I attempted it and the back of his hair never co-operates. They were so cute I couldn't help but share. I don't think you can see her lost tooth in any of the pictures because it is the bottom one and she has big lips like her dad.

Morgan loves to pose for the camera.
Sometimes I look at her and can't stop staring because she is so beautiful. She will always say, "Mom why are you staring at me?"
Chase loves to be silly. When I said I was taking a picture of him he quickly turned around. After I would snap the picture he would turn and look at me with the cutest smile. I need a camera that I can take lots of pictures in a row to catch moments like that.
Finally got one of his cute smile.
Morgan and Chase are the cutest buddies. They do fight a lot, but it is mostly Chase teasing her and she comes crying to me. I sure love these two. She is tickling him so he will smile with his teeth. The other day I told Chase to smile with his teeth and he said he didn't know how. I told him to pretend I was tickling him...that always works...he is very ticklish.
This is what happened when I ask Chase to take a picture of me and Morgan. He took one of his shadow. He is always trying to make us laugh.

Cabella's

Last week was spring break, so I didn't have to teach at all. It was so nice. My sister Laurie was in town from Colorado too. We did something fun almost every day. Here was one of the days. We went to Cabella's.(I think that is how you spell it???) If you have never been there and you have little kids....well scratch that, because I like it as much as the kids...so if you have never been there you must go. We were there probably 3 or more hours.
Here is the crew of kids we had there.
These 4 girls are always dancing around and when we take picture they seem to always do a dancing pose. Linds tried to pose them but it didn't work out too well.
Here is them on their own. Chase of course poses by showing his muscles.

He likes to wear a hat only when Morgan has a flower in her hair...at least now he doesn't want to wear flowers. He sure is cute.
My sisters and me. This is only 3 of the 8. My sister in law Robin was there too, but we didn't get her in any of the pictures.
I love this one of Morgan
I asked her to stand there and at first I did a close up of her with the animals in the background and then I looked down at her feet to see a perfect 1st position. She truly takes after her mom.
Me and my baby boy...except he says, "I not a baby, I a big guy."

More posing by these girls.
Five kids in the shopping cart.
My cute kids.
You can't see the polar bear in the back ground very well but they are pretending to be a bear.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention that going to Cabella's is free. So there is another reason to go there. We will probably be going there again soon so maybe we will see you there. Ha ha...

Update

You all probably thought I wasn't blogging anymore but here I am. I can't believe how long it has been since my last post. Well we are all alive and well. Morgan is 4 years old now. She takes ballet class and dances all over the house and is constantly dressing up...like at least 4 outfits a day. Peter thinks I have corrupted her with the dancing...maybe I have but it sure makes me proud. Chase is 2 and all boy. He loves to be like his dad. He is often saying, "I want daddy home to hold me." He still loves to snuggle which I love so much. Morgan and Chase play so well together, it is so much fun for me to see. Pete is in school and at the end of the summer he will be taking the MCAT. He is very busy, but is doing so well in all his classes. I am so proud of him. As for me just busy with the kids and teaching dance. I will be starting next week on making about 75 costumes...so life will just be getting busier.

Morgan and Chase both got umbrellas for Christmas and have been waiting for it to start raining so here is there first time out in the rain.

Yep that is right Chase got potty trained in January. It only took about 1 week for him to stop pooping in his underwear and probably only 4 cold showers(well actually only 1 cold shower and after that I just did luke warm bath water).
For the month of February we lived at Paul and Jacquie's house with Rylee and Calvin. It was nice having them around and my kids just love them. So here are a few shots from then.
Rylee always painted Morgan's nails and of course Chase wanted his too. Only it had to be a boy color.
I love this picture. They are so cute.
Calvin is 14 and is taller then me now. What a cutie.
I love this picture he was so happy Calvin let him wear his hat.
After Chase got a hair cut.
I have the best looking family...
That smile makes me melt. I was giving him a hair cut and he is so good. He sits there so Patiently while I take so long to cut his hair.

Chase is Walking

Yesterday Chase just started walking around. He has been walking while pushing things for about 3 months, but yesterday was the first time on his own. He isn't very good, but we are so proud of him. Today in nursery he would stand up on his own and then start walking. It will be fun for him when he can keep up with his sister.
Here is one of him in action.

Morgan's Birthday

This month we celebrated Morgan's third birthday. I can't believe that she is already 3. It seems like not long ago I held her in my arms for the first time. She is such a joy to have in our lives. She always is telling me, "I love you mommy, thank you for being my special girl." She loves to have everything organized. Dogs have to go with dogs, ducks with ducks, bears with bears, ect... She gets it from me I guess. I always feel like I am organizing there toys. Today we were in nursery and there was only one horse and she said we needed to take it home because it was lonely. There were no other horses in nursery. She loves to dance. She was in a ballet class and she loved it. When ever music is on she is dancing around. She will ask mommy to dance with her. She will say, "well who is the teacher?" One day she was the teacher and she told me to do an arabesque. She said, "now straight knee mom, pointe your toes, lift your leg higher..." She is hard core. She loves princess, like most girls her age and loves Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, and many more, but she will say that the Beast and Maleficent are grumpy because they don't have friends, she says I will be their friends. Morgan also loves her baby brother. When ever he wakes up from naps she is the first one in there and she says, "Did you sleep good Booboo" (that is what she calls him sometimes). We are still working on sharing and not stealing his toys, but there is no doubt that Morgan loves her brother. She is definately still a daddy's girl. As soon as Pete gets home she only wants him. Probably because she calls mom the boss.
Morgan is one day old here.
Here is her 1st birthday
Morgan's 2nd birthday with her baby brother Chase.
Morgan on her 3rd birthday. I made her a tutu. The whole time I was working on the tutus she would say to me, "mom when are you going to make me a purple tutu."
Morgan's favorite birthday present her big duck.
Doing an arabesque. While I was trying to take this picture she said, "this hurts mom."
I told her to do a battement.
Look at that technique.
Happy Birthday Morgan. Look at my beautiful Princess.
Posing with all of her ducks.
