Last week was spring break, so I didn't have to teach at all. It was so nice. My sister Laurie was in town from Colorado too. We did something fun almost every day. Here was one of the days. We went to Cabella's.(I think that is how you spell it???) If you have never been there and you have little kids....well scratch that, because I like it as much as the kids...so if you have never been there you must go. We were there probably 3 or more hours.

These 4 girls are always dancing around and when we take picture they seem to always do a dancing pose. Linds tried to pose them but it didn't work out too well.

He likes to wear a hat only when Morgan has a flower in her hair...at least now he doesn't want to wear flowers. He sure is cute.

You all probably thought I wasn't blogging anymore but here I am. I can't believe how long it has been since my last post. Well we are all alive and well. Morgan is 4 years old now. She takes ballet class and dances all over the house and is constantly dressing up...like at least 4 outfits a day. Peter thinks I have corrupted her with the dancing...maybe I have but it sure makes me proud. Chase is 2 and all boy. He loves to be like his dad. He is often saying, "I want daddy home to hold me." He still loves to snuggle which I love so much. Morgan and Chase play so well together, it is so much fun for me to see. Pete is in school and at the end of the summer he will be taking the MCAT. He is very busy, but is doing so well in all his classes. I am so proud of him. As for me just busy with the kids and teaching dance. I will be starting next week on making about 75 costumes...so life will just be getting busier.

Morgan and Chase both got umbrellas for Christmas and have been waiting for it to start raining so here is there first time out in the rain.

Yep that is right Chase got potty trained in January. It only took about 1 week for him to stop pooping in his underwear and probably only 4 cold showers(well actually only 1 cold shower and after that I just did luke warm bath water).
For the month of February we lived at Paul and Jacquie's house with Rylee and Calvin. It was nice having them around and my kids just love them. So here are a few shots from then.
Rylee always painted Morgan's nails and of course Chase wanted his too. Only it had to be a boy color.

Chase is Walking

Yesterday Chase just started walking around. He has been walking while pushing things for about 3 months, but yesterday was the first time on his own. He isn't very good, but we are so proud of him. Today in nursery he would stand up on his own and then start walking. It will be fun for him when he can keep up with his sister.

Morgan's Birthday

This month we celebrated Morgan's third birthday. I can't believe that she is already 3. It seems like not long ago I held her in my arms for the first time. She is such a joy to have in our lives. She always is telling me, "I love you mommy, thank you for being my special girl." She loves to have everything organized. Dogs have to go with dogs, ducks with ducks, bears with bears, ect... She gets it from me I guess. I always feel like I am organizing there toys. Today we were in nursery and there was only one horse and she said we needed to take it home because it was lonely. There were no other horses in nursery. She loves to dance. She was in a ballet class and she loved it. When ever music is on she is dancing around. She will ask mommy to dance with her. She will say, "well who is the teacher?" One day she was the teacher and she told me to do an arabesque. She said, "now straight knee mom, pointe your toes, lift your leg higher..." She is hard core. She loves princess, like most girls her age and loves Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, and many more, but she will say that the Beast and Maleficent are grumpy because they don't have friends, she says I will be their friends. Morgan also loves her baby brother. When ever he wakes up from naps she is the first one in there and she says, "Did you sleep good Booboo" (that is what she calls him sometimes). We are still working on sharing and not stealing his toys, but there is no doubt that Morgan loves her brother. She is definately still a daddy's girl. As soon as Pete gets home she only wants him. Probably because she calls mom the boss.

Chase's Birthday

My baby turned a year old a month ago. I can't believe how fast this year went. Chase is the sweetest boy. He loves to give mom and dad snuggles. He is so goofy. He loves to make us laugh. Even when he is half asleep he will cover his face and when he uncovers says "bo". He also loves his sister even though his sister is always taking toys from him. He loves to put his diapers in the garbage after we change him. The first time he did it by himself, I followed him into the kitchen and he stood up and dropped it in the garbage. He is smart. He loves cars and drives them around and makes car noises. He also signs and says "ball" which i think are his favorites. He loves to throw them and play catch. He always says "more" to kisses and tickles. He doesn't walk by himself but walks behind his new front loader or even pushing Morgan's doll strollers. I just love this boy.

I made 30 tutus and several other costumes for a Nutcracker in Payson. It is so much work but it was lots of fun. Here are the beautiful tutus.

At the River

Pete has felt it is his duty to clean the logs out of the American Fork river. Mostly so that he doesn't hit any logs while kayaking in the spring. We have gone up as a family and I sit on the side and watch our kids and make sure they don't fall into the freezing cold water.

Chase crying because we won't let him in the River. He is also teething so that is why he has his tongue out in every picture.

Cement Chalk

This has been our favorite thing to do this summer. Good thing we have lots of cement around us, because Morgan wanted to do it a couple times a day. Chase liked it too. When he was sick of me telling him to quite putting them in his mouth he would actually color. It was really cute. I tried to get a video of him doing it, but he would stop when ever I had the camera out.

Canada Trip

So it has been a month since we returned from Canada, but I started this post a couple weeks again so sorry it is such a long one. We had so much fun. We went to the zoo, the pool, road horses, played at Tie Lake and saw lots of cousins. On our drive up there, we stopped for a potty break and Pete took Morgan into the gas station first while I changed Chase in the car. When I walk into the gas station I heard Morgan screaming from the boys bathroom. When she got out she said, "Mom, Dad dropped me in the potty." So anytime we had her sit on a big potty she said remember when daddy dropped me into the potty...She never forgets anything.

Chase on the horse with Grandad. He was really sick this day so this was the only time he got to ride on the horse, but he seemed to enjoy it.
Morgan loved riding the horses she didn't ever want to get off. She kept asking me to ask Grandad to get a horse. She loves them just like you mom.
Peter not enjoying the horse as much as us. He says he would rather ride a dirt bike or motor bike they are actually predictable and easier to maintain.

I dont know what happened with these Zoo pictures. I am not really good at this blogging stuff. So the people in these pictures are Pete's cousins Ginny and Mandi. Ginny brought her baby Finn and Mandi brought husband Greg and son Kaslo. My sister in laws Christine and Caitlin and there babies Parks and Andersen. And me braving it with my 2. It was a fun time.

We are all watching to baby gorilla. We stood there and watched him for along time because he was so cute.

Well I have been terrible at posting for the last few months. So this is my update. We are back in Utah after living in Canada for 4 months. Chase is now 5 months old. I can't believe that he is so old. He is still such a good baby. He still loves sleep, but doesn't sleep through the night. He loves to smile and he always laughs at his sister. He lets me snuggle him all the time and give him lots of kisses. He always smiles when I give him kisses. As for Morgan she is potty trained now. She never likes to wear pants. When she is in bed she always takes her pants off and says she is a "skinny girl". When we were in Canada I took her to a Mom and me dance class and she did so good. I was such a proud mom watching her dancing around. She loves to practice with me at home. But when asked if she wants to be a dancer or a kayaker the answer is always "a kayaker". She is such a daddy's girl. Morgan loves her brother but is always jealous when Pete holds him. The first thing in the morning she says when she wakes up is "where is Chase?". I can't wait until they are able old to play together. Two kids is a hand full but so much fun.

Morgan's 2nd B-day

Morgan riding her new bike. During the summer in Texas we went to walmart often and we would go to the bike section so Morgan could ride the bikes. So she has wanted one for a long time. She very excited to get one of her own. She still hasn't learned to ride by herself yet, but she sits on it and we push her around.

Morgan turned 2 years old on January 4th. She loved having a special day for herself and now when ever we say it is someone elses birthday she says, "No, Morgan birthday"

Baby Chase is Born

Some reason the pictures came in backwards. I am finally posting pictures of after Chase was born.

So all day Tuesday November 18 I was having contractions nothing consistent and by 10pm they were going away so luckly I got some sleep that night. I woke up at 4 am and the contractions were back every 5 minutes, but they didn't seem to progress much and again by 7:30 am they were coming every 10 to 15 minutes. I tried to get Peter to go on a walk with me but Morgan was still sleeping. We did get everything ready, because I was having contractions so often. I was frustrated so I layed down to take a nap. That didn't work because then the real contractions started. I had Peter messaging my back during contractions and Morgan playing with my hair.

We got to the Birthing Suite at 11:30 am and my mom came to pick Morgan up shortly after we got there. My contractions were hard, but only coming every 7 minutes.

We had a nice, intimate birth with just Peter and my midwife. It was really calm. We laughed lots and we even ate chips and salsa while I sat in the bath tube. (Not like I would have pictured it to be).

Don't worry it wasn't all easy and fun. I spent about 2 hours pushing out my big 8 pound 15 ounce boy. I guess he pooped a lot when he came out so he would have been 9 pounds. But because of my wonderful husbands couching I didn't tear at all.

At 5:49 pm Chase Randall Hill was born. He is so beautiful even with all the vernix on him. What amazing things our bodies can do. I look at him and can't believe he was inside me. Heavenly Father loves us so much that he sends such sweet spirits to us here on earth.

Peter Kayaking

Morgan and I drove with Peter and Mike to the Kananaskis River to watch them kayak. This is more of a play river so they would do the same wave a few times so we got to watch them a lot. Morgan and I sat down by the river on some rocks and Morgan put her feet in the very cold water. Every time Peter paddled away from us she would try to jump into the water. This girl has no fear. She also kept saying, "Morgan Kayak." Just what Peter wants is her to kayak.

Caitlin's Shower

When we were in Canada got to go to Caitlin's baby shower. She was only due 3 weeks before me. She had her baby 2 weeks early and I still have 3 weeks to go. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to go early, not counting on it.

Tie Lake

I am finally posting some pictures from our trip to Canada. Our first stop was Tie Lake in BC. It was so nice there. It was fairly warm but the water was so cold. The only thing we could get in there was our feet and not even for very long. There were some crazy people out on the wake board, surfing, and tubing behind the boat. It is easy to tell that we were in Texas all summer with the warm ocean water. We weren't use to the Canadian Cold.

Morgan did have a blast. Every morning when she would wake up she would say, "Outside to Play". She loved the trampoline, the slide, playing in the dirt, seeing lots of different animals and not being in the car. Since we had driven 37 hours in about a weeks time. Not the funnest for a little girl or a pregnant woman. Poor Peter.

This sign was posted by the river where the salmon were sponning (I think that is what they call it). I, of course, was freaked out seeing the sign. I wanted to stay right by the car in case a bear decided it was hungery, but Peter wanted to get a picture of Morgan and I with the fish in view, on the opposite side of the river as our car. We all survived. This was the first time I have seen this and it is really cool.

The next few pictures are of Morgan playing outside. She loved every minute of it. As you can see she is always smiling.

Morgan and I went to the USS Lexington to tour the ship. We were leaving Texas soon and I figured we needed to see some of the sites. Morgan was only interested in the air planes and running away from me. So I spent a lot of the time chasing her.

When ever it rained Morgan always wanted to go run in the rain. It was nice and warm so she didn't mind getting wet.

She usually runs back and forth from Peter to me, but Peter didn't come out with us so she didn't really know what to do.
